We have always heard to stay away from ham/pork and shellfish, and now I see both are included in your “OK to eat” list?

Good Foods List

Yes, isn’t life great when you look at the science of how food affects gout. Instead of listening to self-serving fools who are just trying to separate you from your money.

Gavls was the first person to respond here. So I think I should make a bit more effort in showing gout sufferers how to incorporate ham, pork, and shellfish into a healthy, gout-friendly diet. What would help you most? Recipes, meal plans, or something else? How about more scientific facts about effects of specific food on uric acid levels? Or do you prefer to learn about food that might help ease inflammatory gout pain?
